Optional Learning Study Packet for All Students

Dear Parents,

This is a guide for the days your child will be absent from school.  This packet includes daily assignments for each day of absence involving all curriculum areas.  You can assist your child by providing them with a quiet time every day to work on the optional learning study tasks.  Daily independent reading is included and is recommended as an important component of the learning study packet. An activity tracker has been provided to serve as an organizational plan.

NOTE: The physical education activities may be replaced with vigorous exercise. The important thing is to make sure your child is participating in daily activities that promote good health.

For students on Individualized Education Programs (IEP) or Section 504 Plans, this notification serves as your prior written notice to all parents and guardians of special education students.  Due to school closure, the first day of closure would indicate that services would be suspended and the district would provide an estimated date of when services will resume. On the website, please see attached Parent Rights and Procedural Safeguards.  For any possible modifications of this work packet, please contact your school office or child’s teacher for help and support. Alternate grade level packets are available. Please print double-sided if possible.
