Fruitvale School District School Meal Charge Policy


Students will only be allowed to charge a maximum of three lunches (-$9.00) on their meal accounts. Students who have a negative balance on their account in excess of $9.00 will need to pay the negative balance before they can begin charging again. If the amount is not paid, your student(s) will need to bring cash each day for their breakfast, lunch and milk; or bring a meal from home. Students who do not have a lunch and have a negative balance higher than $9.00 will be served a fruit, vegetable, grain and milk.

Please remember that Free and Reduced Lunch Applications are available on the District’s website, and eligible families are required to complete an application each school year. Lunch accounts can be managed online for your convenience using Cash or checks, made payable to Fruitvale School District, are also accepted.

EZ SchoolPay

EZ SchoolPay is a service that can be used to:

  • Make pre-payments to your student’s school meal account anytime using your credit or debit card
  • Monitor your student’s meal account balance online
  • View online history of your student’s meal activity
  • Request email alerts for low balances at an amount you specify
