Join our Fruitvale Family!  TK-Kindergarten & New Student Registration for the 2023-2024 school year. Students turning 5 between September 2nd through April 2nd to qualify for our TK program.

Check out our new Student Online Safety! From App and Game reviews to how to set up parental controls on your students' devices, this hub includes articles, videos, courses, and more, to ensure you know how to keep your kids safe online.
Summer Programs: Session one will be from June 12 to June 30. Session two will be from July 10 to July 28. Summer school session is daily from 8:00AM to 12:00 PM with opportunity for extended care. Registration posts were sent out via Parent Square.

About Us

The Fruitvale School District is located in northwest Bakersfield. Founded in 1895, the District includes Columbia Elementary, Discovery Elementary, Endeavour Elementary, Quailwood Elementary and Fruitvale Junior High Schools, and has a current TK-grade 8 enrollment of 3,062 students.
