Fruitvale School District Fog Delay Procedures

To ensure the safety of our students and families, please follow these procedures on days with heavy fog:

Check for Delays: Please do not call the school office. Check the Kern Alertline to see if a delay has been declared.

Supervision Schedule: On declared fog delay days, school supervision is delayed by two hours. Please do not drop off children before supervision begins:

• • Elementary Schools: 10:00 a.m.

  • Fruitvale Junior High: 9:40 a.m.

Morning ELOP: To prioritize family safety, there will be no morning ELOP on fog delay days.
