2011 Pertussis (Whooping Cough) Immunizations Requirements for Students

Beginning July 1, 2012, and beyond, all students entering the 7th grade will need proof of Tdap booster shot before starting school.  Bring proof of this immunization to your child's school now.

Any child 7 years and older has not received the Tdap Pertussis booster shot, please contact your doctor and get vaccinated now. Bring proof of this to your child's school office.

Getting a booster shot now will protect your child against the ongoing threat of Pertussis and meet the new school requirements in the 2013-2014 school year.  (California law-Assembly Bill 354)
